IND-Enabling Trial


An IND-enabling trial is a preclinical study designed to gather the necessary data to support the filing of an Investigational New Drug (IND) application with regulatory agencies. These studies include toxicity studies, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics assessments to demonstrate the safety and biological activity of a new drug candidate.
