Hemangioma

A hemangioma is a benign tumor made up of blood vessels that can appear anywhere on the body but is most commonly found on the skin. They often appear as red or purple raised lesions and are most common in infants. Most hemangiomas resolve on their own without treatment, but some may require medical intervention.
